Little White Dove is a close-up portrait of a white bison, painted in oil on linen mounted to a cradled Sierra Art Panel. I used soft brushwork and a cool, misty background to let the bison’s presence quietly come forward. Its pale coat and steady gaze give a sense of stillness, as if it's just stepped out of the fog and is standing there with you.
 
White bison are rare in the wild and deeply meaningful to many Native American cultures, often seen as symbols of renewal and the sacred. That weight of meaning stayed with me while I painted. This piece is a quiet moment—meant to invite reflection, and maybe even a little reverence—for the animal and for the natural world it belongs to.
