This page is an extension of the studio itself—a place for small-batch builds, experimental constructions, and custom panel projects. The panels listed here are produced in limited quantities, often as one-offs or short runs, and availability is always changing.
Many of these panels are part of ongoing R&D, where I test new materials and structural ideas. You may see panels built with carbon fiber, fiberglass, or other composite elements alongside traditional hardwood plywood constructions.

Muir Series
Introducing our Muir Series panels, expertly crafted from high-quality Baltic birch and luan plywood. These innovative panels are made by laminating two 1/8-inch thick sheets together with a fiberglass core, creating a rigid, durable, and waterproof barrier between the front and back. The result is a 7-ply, 1/4-inch thick panel designed to withstand the demands of both plein air and studio painting.
Each panel is archival and pre-sealed on the back with a natural oil-based sealer, offering additional protection against moisture and warping.
Designed for versatility, these robust panels can be gessoed and painted directly or used with attached canvas, linen, or paper. The finished back adds a professional touch, ensuring a refined presentation that will impress collectors and galleries alike.
